Current Work
After a fairly long period kicking our heels and chewing on bones, since The Package graced Bradford University, lost dog are getting excited again.  Two new productions that have been in the pipeline for a while are starting to come to fruition...

Under the Bed.
A modern fairytale for all ages, Under the Bed is the story of 12yr old Emily; a girl who finds her world torn apart when her parents split up and her mother whisks her away to a new and strange house.  Blaming her mother and resenting her father Emily's life could not get any worse.  At least that's what she thought until one night alone in the house, Emily discovers a wolf living under her bed...

With a first meeting between the potential collaborators happening mid-December the production is pencilled to get into full swing in early January.  Incorporating dance, performance, film, live music and a bed, we are, needless to say, getting very excited about the prospect of the production, especially with the collaborators who are involved (being announced the new year).

Through Someone Else's Eyes.
A paranoid play.
Matthew prides himself on his ability to keep his mind in balance; on knowing what is real and what is not, but things are starting to get a little less clear, a little harder to compute.  Does his friend Simon really exist?  And what about the fluffy cartoon mouse that lives in his shoe?  With the lines between the real and the imagined fading, Matthew needs to make some drastic choices and quickly - especially now a serial killer has moved in upstairs.
Lost dog theatre invites you to join them on the slippery slopes of Matthews imagination in this production; a darkly comic and intimately tragic portrait of man trying desperately to cling on to his sanity.

With work scheduled to start in the Summer 2011, lost dog will bring together collaborators from music, film, animation and performance to create a play that blurs the lines of the real and the imagined for the audience as much as it does for Matthew.
